Our Recruitment Process

After you submit an Expression of Interest via this website, we will send you more detailed information for you to consider if Clark Rubber is right for you. We will ask you to complete our online Confidentiality Agreement and then we will provide specific financial information regarding the store/site you are interested in.

Your application will start with a friendly chat; a member of our Network Development Team will give you a call and provide some more detail about the opportunity you are interested in. This gives you a chance to get answers to some of your early questions. We will follow this up with an in person meeting to really deep dive into Clark Rubber and your application.

When you are ready to proceed, we will get you to complete our formal application form so we continue to get to know you better. We’ll also get you to start financial projections and a Business Plan. If you are considering an existing store, you will be heading towards a Heads of Agreement with the existing franchisee. At this point we will ask for a fully refundable $2,000 deposit – you are under no obligation to proceed at this stage.

We will invite you to attend a Discovery Day at our Franchise Support Office (FSO) where you will meet the senior managers of the business and continue to build relationships with key people that will support you in your journey as a Clark Rubber Franchisee. We will now formalise your application and collate all required documentation.

Our Approval Team will meet and consider all the documentation you have provided. If your application is approved we will supply formal documentation for your execution (after 14 days) and you will be finalising the lease of your premises and other planning as you head into the final stretch before starting your new business. At this stage you will also pay a further $5,000 deposit.

We will now send you copies of the legal documents that you will have to sign if you proceed. This is an opportunity for you to get independent expert advice from your accountant and solicitor to ensure you fully understand the business you are considering. If you are buying an existing store you will be finalising a Contract of Sale. We will continue to be available to chat/meet with you at all times.

You’re approved and ready to go! You will now start working with our Learning & Development Team to prepare you for life as a Clark Rubber Franchisee – this will include classroom & in-store training, completing credit applications, commencing staff recruitment, planning your opening marketing campaign and ordering stock.
